For the Turkey

Flour (1 tablespoon, for thickening)

Instructions

 1. Season and Cook the Turkey

Place turkey in a bowl and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cloves, salt, black garlic powder, rosemary, and chicken seasoning.

Drizzle with olive oil and mix well to coat evenly.

Add turkey to a saucepan over medium heat and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Roast the Vegetables

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Place sliced bell peppers and 1 chopped yellow onion on a baking sheet.

Roast for 20–25 minutes until soft and slightly charred.

3. Blend the Base

Blend until smooth and set aside.

4. Fry the Turkey

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.

5. Build the Stew

Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to simmer for 15 minutes.

6. Simmer Low and Slow

Cover and simmer on low–medium heat for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

7. Serve and Enjoy

Serve hot with rice, bread, or cornbread.
